WTS gains experts from Mazars

Expansion of competence area Private Clients and HR Tax Services

Munich, 9 August 2011 – The WTS tax consultancy firm has expanded the team led by Prof. Dr. Alexander Hemmelrath. The two highly qualified experts who are joining the firm are Doris Pflieger-Steininger (lawyer and tax advisor) and Peggy Jones (tax advisor).

The team responsible for the WTS competence area Private Clients & HR Tax Services is led by highly regarded tax law expert Prof. Dr. Alexander Hemmelrath, who is delighted with this expansion of the firm's expertise. "WTS has not only gained two new partners but also two highly qualified tax specialists. Their client focus and well-organised team will strengthen WTS's market position on a long-term basis", said Prof. Dr. Hemmelrath.

Doris Pflieger-Steininger and Peggy Jones are moving from Mazars to WTS together with their team of twelve employees. The team's key areas include comprehensive tax advice and full service for domestic and foreign SMEs, funds and private individuals. The team led by Pflieger-Steininger and Jones also offers tax advice to company owners, chief executives and directors.

Doris Pflieger-Steininger was a co-founder of the former multi-disciplinary law firm of Haarmann Hemmelrath and continued working with Prof. Dr. Hemmelrath after the firm merged with Mazars in 2007. Peggy Jones has been a member of the team headed by Prof. Dr. Hemmelrath and Doris Pflieger-Steininger for 17 years and worked most recently as Senior Manager.
