WTS is breaking new ground with Strunk Kolaschnik

First partnership at national level

Hamburg/Munich, 10 August 2011 – WTS is expanding its advisory services significantly in North Germany and beyond, after successfully developing its business in Hamburg over a period of four years. Its first external cooperation agreement in Germany has been concluded with the highly regarded firm of Strunk Kolaschnik. "WTS is delighted to welcome its new partner. This will enable WTS to continue expanding its national and cross-border tax consultancy on a systematic basis", said Fritz Esterer, chairman of the WTS Group Aktiengesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft.

This cooperation between WTS and the law firm founded by tax consultant Prof. Günther Strunk and lawyer Helge F. Kolaschnik in Hamburg is intended in particular to promote comprehensive consultancy services involving complex national and international issues. Target clients include owner-managed companies, wealthy private individuals, SMEs and private banks, financial institutions and issuing houses. Going forward, this significant expansion will also enable the WTS Hamburg office to offer the full range of tax advice to private individuals, institutions and companies, both nationally and internationally.

The appointment of Prof. Strunk as of counsel at WTS reflects the intensive nature of the proposed collaboration, which will operate primarily in Hamburg and North Germany. Prof. Strunk's work will also include directing and expanding the increasingly important field of international taxation of partnerships. "This access to the global WTS Alliance network and the experienced team at WTS in Germany will allow us to offer interesting advisory services for complex partnership structures", commented Prof. Strunk, chief executive of the Strunk Kolaschnik Steuerberatungsgesellschaft.

With a total of 10 employees advising on law and tax, Strunk Kolaschnik is represented through offices in Hamburg but has clients across Germany.
By cooperating in this way, WTS and Strunk Kolaschnik intend to offer attractive services to companies and private individuals who seek comprehensive interdisciplinary advice on matters that are becoming increasingly complex and international.
