Number of partners at WTS Group expanded significantly
Eleven new partners appointed since beginning of the year
Munich, July 20, 2010 – With retroactive effect as of the beginning of the fiscal year, the WTS Group has further increased the number of partners. In the course of the last six months, eleven new partners have been appointed to complement the management team, more than ever before in the company’s history. The number of renowned external authorities in particular has been raised significantly.
From the ranks of WTS AG Steuerberatungsgesellschaft in Munich, accountant Dr. Axel Löntz was made partner. He is joined by attorney Dr. Karen Möhlenkamp from the second-largest WTS subsidiary in Düsseldorf and accountant Diana Driemel from WTS Erlangen.
Jan H. Storbeck, auditor and CPA (formerly at KPMG), is in charge of the operations of – and now a partner at – WTS Wirtschaftstreuhand Steuerberatungsgesellschaft GmbH in the areas of Risk Management, Accounting Services, Tax Accounting/Tax Reporting and Turnaround Management.
Thomas Krug (formerly at Siemens) and Michael Ruth (formerly at Infineon), the two Managing Directors of the WTS financial shareholding Fortesse Consulting GmbH, a consulting firm for CFO-related services, were also appointed as partners. Another addition to the circle of partners is the renowned compliance expert Thomas Lüthi, (formerly at Siemens, now also Fortesse).
As announced only a few days ago, accountant Dieter Lübbehüsen and the two attorneys Dr. Carsten Fischer and Dr. Bela Jansen (all still with Dewey & LeBoeuf) will join the ranks this summer as the three new partners of WTS Group in the Frankfurt offices where they will work on setting up the new WTS business area Asset Management.
Attorney Stefan Hölzemann (currently with Noerr), one of Germany’s leading specialists in corporate tax law, will become a new board member and share responsibility for the management of the WTS business area Transaction and Design Management, as previously announced.
“Our dynamic environment is the ideal setting to attract motivated external experts to one of Germany’s leading tax consulting firms. WTS is a very attractive place of employment for new hires and job changers,” comments Fritz Esterer, CEO of WTS AG Steuerberatungsgesellschaft. “At the same time, these appointments are a strong signal both internally and externally, demonstrating that we actively develop management staff from our own ranks at all our locations. WTS thus offers attractive career opportunities.”
