Congress of the International Fiscal Association in Rome starting on 29 August 2010
WTS Alliance will be represented at the IFA
Munich / Rome, 16 August 2010 - For the very first time WTS Alliance 2010 is going to be represented at the IFA, Congress of the International Fiscal Association in Rome in front of 1500 participants. From 29 August to 3 September, the worldwide alliance of tax consulting firms will inform about its network's activities in more than 90 countries.
The five-day congress deals this year inter alia with the compatibility of double taxation agreements and national tax jurisdiction as well as special issues such as the international treatment of inheritances and gifts. WTS Alliance is also going to contribute an international issue at its information desk at the IFA: in a special edition of its "International Tax News", which is going to be distributed at the IFA, tax-experts of the WTS Alliance examine the fiscal impact of the financial and economic crisis on enterprises in different parts of the world.
The venue of the IFA and its expected 1500 participant is going to be the tradition-steeped Hotel Rome Cavalieri (see photo), which reminds of the Italian mathematician with the same name – Bonaventura Cavalieri. It's not only the world of numbers that connects the meeting place with its visitors. Just as the world of taxes, the Monte Mario requires foresight, if you want to enjoy the view of the Eternal City's impressive monuments and its seven hills beyond the river Tiber.

The IFA deals with international tax law and advocates its improvements actively. One way to make this happen are scientific publications and the IFA's annual congress. Currently, the IFA constitutes of 12.000 members in more than 100 nations, among them in particular high-ranking representatives of justice, public administration, universities as well as major companies and consulting firms.
